Reloading

We offer two varieties of NRA Reloading courses.  Each of them will be taught by well qualified and knowledgable instructors and they will include hands on experience with our reloading equipment. Upon completion of these courses you will be qualified to take the more advanced reloading courses and use our equipment to reload and test your own ammo.  The NRA Basic Reloading courses are as follows:

NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course

Short Description : Teaches beginning reloaders the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely reload metallic cartridges.

More Details: This course is eight hours in length and is conducted in a classroom. Each student is taught reloading safety; centerfire cartridge components; using the reloading manual and reloading data; equipment; and the metallic cartridge reloading process. Students will receive the NRA Guide to Reloading handbook, the Basic Reloading Student Exam, a course completion certificate, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an Instructor Application/Course Evaluation form.

 

NRA Basic Shotgun Shell Reloading Course

Short Description : Teaches beginning reloaders the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely reload shotgun shells.

More Details: This course is six hours in length and is conducted in a classroom. Each student is taught reloading safety; shotgun shell components; using the reloading manual and reloading data; equipment; and the shotgun shell reloading process. Students will receive the NRA Guide to Reloading handbook, the Basic Reloading Student Exam, a course completion certificate, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an Instructor Application Course/Evaluation form.
 
Advanced Metallic Cartridge Reloading
 
Short Description: Teaches reloaders a much more in-depth understanding of the reloading skills required to gain the maximum advantages of hand loading your own ammo.
 
More Details: This course will likely take an entire day and will give you the opportunity to not only load some of your own ammunition, but under the guidance of our experienced instructors you will be taught how to tune your ammo to maximize the accuracy of your particular firearm.    This course is taught both in the classroom and on the range so you will get the opportunity to test your loads under expert supervision.  We go above and beyond the scope of the basic reloading taught in the NRA Metallic Reloading course so you will be required to start with the NRA basic course first.
